Description:
Formulates, defines, and implements improvements to business processes and
operations to solve problems and enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Analyzes data, conducts research, interviews employees, and monitors
process efficiency and outcomes to identify problems. Consults with users
to define problems and identify solutions. Conducts analysis including work flow, feasibility, cost/benefit, trend, and cause and effect analysis.
Develops recommendations and designs solutions for process improvements.
Tests solutions and communicates impact to users. Implements business
solutions. May define and run queries and develop analysis and reports to
track and assess performance. May create and maintain procedures and
documentation.

Scope:
Gathers, documents, analyzes and draws conclusions on moderately complex
data and information.
Defines problems and scope, develops recommendations, manages
implementation of solutions and contributes and participates in
meetings.
Creates and runs queries and reports.
May create and maintain databases, such as Access for use in monitoring
and tracking performance.

Skills:
Familiar with Niku/Clarity
Strong knowledge of project management, operating polices, procedures,
and practices.
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to solicit input.
Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of spreadsheet and database
software.
Knowledge of Financial Services industry and/or business unit procedures
and operations.
Good process improvement skills.
Time management skills and ability to multitask from project to project
as priorities change.

Requirements:
4 year college degree preferred in business, finance, or related field,
or equivalent experience.
3+ years business analyst experience.
